I own a '95 Ranger 4.0L. I need to change the camshaft position sensor. It's supposed to be on the back of the engine somewhere. What do I need to remove to gain access to it. Unfortunately my trained monkey ran away last week. Just kidding, he wasn't trained. Haynes manual says simply unscrew the old sensor and install the new one. I would if I could find it. This has been a great truck. Thanks for any replies.

I haven't done it, but I think you'll have to remove the upper intake manifold. Probably nothing else major. Do a search of the forums and/or net and there's a few photos out there.

OK, I ripped out the upper intake manifold and still can't find this blessed thing. Tried moving wiring harness and using a flashlight still doesn't do it. This is getting very frustrating. I know I can do this
