I have 02 2.3l Ranger displaying all the symptoms of a failed sensor. The problem? I cant find the !@#$% thing. Everything ive read says its bolted to the valve cover but im coming up with jack. Anybody have a pic? Thanks!

the duratec intake cam sensor is on top of the valve cover, at the rear, on the driver side. most likely the intake manifold is in the way. it's snowing right now, that's my excuse for not going out and looking.

fyi, my 2005 2.3 duratec still has all the factory sensors in it, at 332,044 miles.
what are your symptoms?

sensor

Went out to start it this morning and it started, ran for a second and died. Now it wont restart. It cranks fine but thats it. It started and ran fine yesterday and that was after sitting for close to month. And my bluetooth OBD code reader wont pair with the phone so i cant get any codes. I ordered a different reader from Summit but it wont be here till Tuesday.
