Camping/overlanding gear thread.

I've found store bought fire wood to be poorly cured and doesn't burn as it should.
... and more expensive than burning gasoline. I used to think the typical $5 bundle was expensive. Today, I noticed bundles at a grocery store for $8.99 and they also had bundles of birch for $9.99. Ouch!

Birch, birch, birch. You know what you are starting to sound like...

Just a little tree pun, easy folks.

Been wanting a 'portable power station' for years... finally bought one! Bluetti PS54.

700 watts output, 537 watt-hour capacity. Caught a flash sale and bought it shipped for 250$ 🤠 normally 450 or so.

This should keep the food cold for quite a while.

If you want to go all Rube Goldberg on it, use it to power a countertop ice maker, then use the ice to keep the food cold. Done and done.

The ice maker is to provide ice for the margarita maker. Get your priorities straight.

I love it. I don’t get along well with 2-stroke engines. Could you imagine some cute brunette bar tender in a tiki bar on a remote island firing that thing up to make a drink?

I like to imagine that said tiki bar has its a/c set to just a little too cold for said bartender 🤩

Bought one of these (the one on top) Ridgid 2.0 toolboxes last year before a camping trip because I was finally tired of dealing with flimsy crap tier clear totes for everything... and it was a good decision.

Considering I have a quickie "overlanding" trip coming up I decided to stop by home shitpo today on the way home from work and added the big bottom rolling section to the collection 🙂
