Camper shell

I have a 99 xlt ranger and I was wondering if anybody on here has or knows if a leer camper will fit on my truck

Seems like you can always find camper shells on craigslist. I've read where people say the ARE shells are better constructed than the Leer.

Any camper or cap for a 93-11 Ranger with the same style and length bed will fit.

Yes, you just have to know the size. Pretty much every camper shell manufacturer in existence has made shells for every truck in existence...however, finding one that is in good condition for an older vehicle may be tricky sometimes.

Doesn't Leer still make them for the older model trucks though?

Swiss also makes good toppers. I'm pretty happy with my aluminum swiss wedge. There is one dimension that isn't quite right (looks like welding warpage) but that's fixable with some creative clamping. Otherwise, it's been a good shell and provides a lot of storage space with little added weight.
