Camper shell locks with the same key?

Anyone know of a company that produces camper shell locks where I can buy three that use the same key, or do they all use the same key anyway?

Any help is appreciated.

I would try a large ,"RV" parts & Accessories dealerin your area.

Good Luck

Call the locksmith. There's a 4-digit number stamped on the lock (at least on mine there are) and he can give you a key.

Most of them use a CH751 Key, it is generic and available at any RV dealer... Want me to ship you some?

Well I was origionally going to purchase new locks, but now that I got a chance to rip off the crappy plastic I see that I have locks already. Whoot for me.

How much would it cost me to get you to mail me some keys? If they're all the same, I'll only need one.

When RV and Truck cap dealers buy locks they usually get several boxes
of twenty locks all keyed alike.

I had to buy two locks with the shorter more squared off handle
for the tailgate on my cap (Two latch tailgates are FAR more secure)
after I had to replace the entirew assembly (I prevously had a single
latch back hatch)

Howveve I also have swing out windowed doors on either side of my
cap and THOSE latches have been keyed differently since I replaced
the rear window.

My problem was that I went back to th cap place and they didn't
have the latches with the same key number.
But I recently scored a pair from the junkyard with the correct key number...

Read the number on the stainless steel cylinder cover on the latch, typically it'll be something like "K131", just try to find a used one (or two) with the same number
and you are golden

I have a couple loose if you PM me your number I'll keep my eyes peeled for a couple more for you...

BTW, it cost me almost $80 for the two back window latches and
associated hardware.

At the junkyard they are easily obtained as they are only held in with
either two 3/16" rivets or a couple of 12-24 machine screws. (from the back)

Alright, I'll check that out tomorrow when it's daylight.

The only numbers I could find on it was on the rear lock, PRM548. So if anyone has a key that would match that.. let me know. Hopefully the two side windows are the same.

Just the latches are ~$12-$20 each (depending on where you get them)
and frankly it's the easiest way to get them all keyed alike new.
