Hey guys after positing a question in the 4x4 lift section I dissided to save up and get a long travel kit. Now I have a couple of very stupid questions so feel free to make fun of me lol.

This is the kit I want Camburg Performance Off-Road System

1.This is for 89-97 4x4 rangers correct? Will this work with any model within those years?

2. This is for the front and rear suspension right?

3. Were can I buy it and could any 4x4 shop install one of these or does it take special skills to do it?

That kit is actually for 2wd rangers and it is just for the front. You can order it from there site. Most shops will likely install it for you

like said before , that for 2wds.

scroll down thier page to get to the 4x4 stuff.

with that said, you can get more from your buck from some other companys.

both of these guys have never had one bad thing said about them over the years, and that's saying something in the long travel world of fab guys.

from the kit you posted before, being a bent beam 2wd kit, I take it you looing for stock width?....if so any shop that can put a drop bracket kit on, should be able to put on one of these kits. its all R&R....over all pretty simple.

2 things to tell the shop that installs the kit for you is to cycle it, port the beam housing to clear the axle shafts. and to cut down the radius arm bolts. As they stick out pretty low and will contact the axle shafts.
also on some trucks, espically kits with out the highrider bracekets you goota watch the plunge in the slip joint from bottoming out, and even with the highrider brackets you gotta watch the yokes/u joints for binding and may have to remove a bit a matterial to clear them up.

one other thing, if your going to use the truck hard, have the right side beams the short one, boxed in on the back side so it dose not tear/crack where the beams gos from boxed to open.
driver side long beam, you can ethier truss or plate the back side in to keep it from bending with hard use.

one thing In the 4x4 world on rangers and stock width, highrider brackets really help out.
