i've almost got enough money saved for this kit. but i was wondering who has had experiance with this kit? i've read its a very good kit. but thought maybe you guys could give me some thoughts/pointers about this kit. anything else that i would need, if i got this kit?

That kit looks to be pretty complete. You'll need to do some work on your rear suspension to match the front. Some deaver springs, shackles and good shocks would do it.

You'll probably get better reviews over on www.dezertrangers.com if you haven't already looked over there. It's prerunner central.

yep also asked over there too :) thanks. ya i plan on the 64" spring and shackle swap. or buy a spring kit from giant motorsports

Sounds like a good plan. Have you looked into any front suspension kits from Threat Motorsports? I've heard they are the cheapest for the front ends like yours.

talk with dave at threat motorsports before going that route. hes been workin on a 64" leaf kit that is as good or better than giants with a better cost.

like suby said, id call dave up. hes one of those that wont sell you on things you dont need. IMPO his kits are as good or better than camburgs plus he has more options in which you can upgrade or change to fit what you will be doing with the kit. Plus his prices cant be touched (with coilovers included) from what ive seen. I wouldnt be runnin his stuff on my race truck if i didnt think it would last :D:D

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! Just to let you know I scrapped the leaf sping idea a while ago..Instead I came out with a short course style 4-link kit instead and its less money then the top of the line leaf pack out there. Even with a fuel cell it is still cheaper, plus it uses all of the same geometry as my standard link kit so you wont have a problem upgrading to my traditional trailing arms.:D

To the OP if you have any questions feel free to contact me. I dont know how soon you are looking to get a kit but if you are ready now you might want to check out the huge Fathers day sale I am having. Being a Dad myself makes me all sentimental this time of year so I get a little crazy on the sale thing lol!:D
