just finished my SAS on my Ranger and i used a narrow d44 front axle from a Early Bronco , the camber is positive. How do i adjust the camber?

There is no way to adjust on Straight axles that I know of other than maybe you could get camber bushings but I doubt that. Maybe the ball joints are bad

i found some camber alignment bushings, nope brand new balljoints the camber is positive i bet it would come back to normal with mileage on the ball joints.

That would be adjusting the caster, not camber.

you dont adjust camber on a straight axle, ball joints are either bad or your measuring is.

Napa shows a 0° Camber Adjusting sleeve. They don't show any other offset sleeves though.

Can you post a picture showing the camber, just how "positive" is it?

Wow, everyone preaching false information again I see.

I have a D44 out of a FS Bronco under my truck, and it has just over 1* of positive camber STOCK. I thought most people knew this. I know I came across it while I was researching my swap. They make a 2 piece bushing, as well as shims that install behind the spindle.

Both of these links were found by searching with a 4wd 79 Bronco as the vehicle, which would have a D44 front axle.

Camber Adjustment Shim

2 piece bushing

From now on guys, if you don't know the answer, DON'T FAWKING REPLY! I hate to see people giving advise that have no clue wtf they're talking about.

I haven't measured, and haven't made up my mind if I'm going to go through the trouble of correcting it, but mine looks to be ~1* as well. I've got chevy knucks on it, the camber must be built into the inner C's rather than the knuckles.

ahhh well now you know why your cambers off, you got an EB axle and dodge knuckles.. i was under the impression that this was a stock non tampered axle...

Where did the OP say that he had dodge knucks? TireIron does. I have chevy knucks on my full size ford housing and have the same issue. Read before you post. Or better yet, just read.

the factory spec for the camber on the 70s D44s was +1 degree +/- 1/2 degree. So all of these people with +1 degree camber is understandable because that's how it was speced from the factory. Of course with that camber it eats up the outside of the tires so we all decide to fix that issue.

got an alignment and who ever says camber is non adjustable then stay off my threads please. Idiots..
