Camber issues...

I have an 03 Edge 2wd with torsion bars with camber problems. I picked up a pair of Moog K100348 kits to install before taking it to get an alignment. When tightening the first new bolt I noticed the mounting bracket is like a U with a short lip on the back side with just enough room for the new cams to be pulled into and wedged in one position. I don't seem to see that back lip on pictures I'm finding. Any ideas as to what's going on?

I haven't looked at one of these in a long while... are you sure the back tab doesn't get bent into position to lock the adjuster in place after it's aligned?
 
Is the hole that the bolt goes through slotted? The offset washer has to be captive between those lips so that when you rotate the bolt and washer, it moves the bolt and therefore the upper a-arm back and forth to push the arm in or out and adjust the camber.

My F150, however, had some pieces installed from the factory that prevented that eccentric movement. That's how they make sure that the alignment is set perfectly on the assembly line with all new OEM parts. When I needed to adjust alignment, the extra locking pieces needed to be discarded in order to allow the cam bolt to "adjust".
 
that looks to be installed correctly. provided the other end of the bolt also has an eccentric.

I'm not sure. Looks like would take a good effort to bend it

The bolt hole is indeed slotted and it moves forward and backwards with ease up until the time the cams begin to get wedged in and that backward and forward motion stops.

Thank you sir! After reading your reply I went and took another look, without tired and frustrated eyes, and it looks like all I need to do it finish installing the rest and take it to the alignment shop
 
You are only going to get so much adjustment out of them.

Did you crank your torsion bars up and end up in this camber situation?

No, I haven't touched the torsion bars. I just started noticing inner tire wear on the driver's side, passenger side to a much lesser degree, and figured I would go ahead and make these adjustments before I go to get an alignment.
