AE5HL here... I primarily operated HF, 40 meters being my favorite band, and should operate more 2 meters where I am now. 6 meters is a hard band to work as I understand it, but when it opens you can really connect around the world.

Oh, and by the way, I only operated 5 watts QRP (low power), never let me down...
