when i first got it
1995 4X4 4.0L Auto 220,400mi. very soon getting a twin stick 03 FX4 Level II

and here it is now

and here is my first ranger an '84 long box 4wd with 5spd and 2.8l miles forgot, i think it was a 3" lift

Looks like you have fun with your ranger! See i got a 1.5 inch lift and I bottomed out wheeling it so I give up LOL. but the 97 has a better axle?

yeah well the tires gave me a 1.5 lift but i got really lucky with this truck. its a xl but it is a 3.0 with the dana 35 with the ttb front end(last year for it i think) manual everything. love the truck. got big plans for it when i get the money lol. about to do a 8.8 explorer swap in the next couple weeks. i got lucky on that too. i got mine for 200 bucks with 3L73 gears which matches my current 3.73

I saw this little guy yesterday on Main St. in Annapolis, Maryland. Looks like an '86-'88 2WD short bed 2.3 XLT with automatic and A/C. Still working hard as a contractor's truck, it appeared to be almost rust-free.
