Hell yeah. Im seriously thinkin bout buyin one. That looks like it would be fun!
My nephews buddy had a small gas fired R/C over at the house one day. Thing would friggin fly and sounded like a super pissed off weedwacker. I think he said it turned 30,000rpm to.When I was a kid I had a little nitro RC buggy. It ran on 2 stroke methanol but was glow plug fired. (You had to start it with this battery powered lighter thing to fire the glow plug) Didn't even have piston rings, just a replaceable cylinder sleeve. I think it turned like 30,000rpm and would do 60mph. Centrifugal clutch and no reverse. I saved up paper route money for 2 years to buy it. I think it was like 400 bucks.
Aluminum chassis, real gas adjustable shocks, it was insane for the time...
That is waaaaay cool !
I'm 20yrs out of date since I paid any attention to this stuff, and was a $29 from Toys 'r Us at the time . Please give me a little background at what I'm seeing . General configuration of the type . what kinda $$ to start from scratch for one of these ( or similar CJ modeled one ) ?
I've NEVER seen a 1st gen Ranger body in the RC world and I've looked for years.
