Hey guys I saw a post last night about lights on the cab and it got me wondering if there are pre stamped holes to drill through for lights I was wondering cuz my friend took his head liner out and he had that on his dodge. I've got a 97 ranger 2.3 2wd and just wanted to know thanks

If for amber clearance lights:

No, buddies Dodge probably was a fullsize that shared its cab design with a 3/4 and 1 ton right?

They won't make two different cabs one with dimples and one without for them... just like how Ford won't put dimples in a Ranger cab where there is no option for clearance lights at all.

Turn around and run away very fast from cab lights.

idk i think they look pretty cool on rangers...

You mean like this?

I'm seeing a wet headliner in somebody's future.

LOL...one of my buddies tried to do this on his 95 Ranger (standard cab). What a mess. He had a huge leak, electric issues and he told me he wished he never had that idea...one of my cats told him about it....lol.

Have put them on many trucks over the years. Drill all of your holes put grommets in the hole for the wires and before screwing them down permently apply a premium quality silicon adhesive in all holes including the mounting screws. You should have no problems. Enjoy

I know I was a little negative in my post re: these lights, but I decided that I needed another project. I ordered a set from EBAY and got them yesterday. I immediately went out to the garage and pulled everything apart. I took measurements and sat the lights on the roof to see how she looked. Looking sweet!!! Each light required two mounting screw holes and one larger hole for wires. I drilled the holes for the first light. Silicon was used and I started to screw her down. Here is where it gets sticky. Those CHEAP *** Lights CRACKED way before they were seated . Can you say made in China. Lucky for me it was the first one I tried putting on. My advice is NEVER use the ones you see on EBAY. I bought a set that was on the upper price line as the listing touted their benefits and quality. I should have stopped when I began to read the instructions. They read like a China man was speaking to me. Many misused or misspelled words. I have ordered a set from NAPA and they will be here Friday AM. Way more expensive, but they are going on my roof aren't they! I believe the manufacturer is GROTE. JMO Will post pictures when I get her finished.

I bought the LMC kit. Just the spider cracks that the OEM ones get.

My advice for wiring them up, go to the Ford dealer, put down the $20 or $25 for the cruise recall harness, and then cut the bugger up for it's plugs and fuse holder and put it on the same line with the park lights.
