Alright i took my 1986 2WD Ranger out for a spin before i drop the chevy V8 in it and well i got slammed in the driver's side and messed quite alot up. So i need some basic guidance on where to start and what to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

the bed is pushed down on the drivers side a bit and will need to be corrected.

already done, im trying to avoid as much costs as possible. i have a new door for it, i need to find a cab corner for it

if someone ran into you they should be paying for any damages...

What I did:
Leave it, adds character.

My inexperienced opinion:
Bed probably can be banged out on your own.
Cab might be easier to cut out a good cab from a parts truck/junk yard and replace.
Grind, body fill to smooth, paint.

It looks to be all fixable. From the pics it apears that the door edge just needs to be tapped back straight and puttied.
The cab corner, if you can't get to the inside of it to bump it back out then a pin type bump hammer (no holes drilled) will get that right out, and if done right will need less filler (and alot cheaper) than to weld in a new one.
The box side should also be able to push back out. From the pic it looks like the most of that can be done by simply straightening the front filler panel that goes between the front wall and the box side.

The most time consuming part about the whole job will be removing the box to get at the wrinkles on the back of the cab and the front of the box. So if you can find a Body Shop that acually still does 'Bodywork' and not just replace everything, it should cost $800-$1000 to fix it with about the same amount of filler as replacing everything which will be more like $1500-$2000
