c5 guys, i need some help well advice

he says that the reverse band is broke, i thought the c5 didnt use bands?

would you repair the trans or stick in a new trans?

they indeed have bands. Two of them actually. The band you would be after is one of the first few pieces to be installed so you would have to tear the entire thing apart. If you have a shop rebuild it you are looking at around $600.
