c clip eliminators

so i am looking to do a c clip eliminator on the dana 35 ttb on my ranger and was wounding what all comes with Yukon C-Clip Eliminator Spring is it just the spring or goes it come with a collar to hold it from going past the shaft where i have seen others just do a weld going around

Never ever weld on your axle shaft (that article in the Tech Library doesn't really make clear that all you need is a hose clamp around the boot with the boot in the axle groove to hold the spring in place).

You got a link to the Yukon circlip eliminator spring? I don't think I have seen that yet.

If ya'll are talking about what I think you are, why not just use the Echo spring? It's pretty cheap.

thanks didnt think hose clap would do it and i was thinking of getting the echo spring probably will order it tomorrow shipping is high so probably will get more then one one more ? what has anyone done for a drain plug i was thinking of drilling a to the bottom bolt so that would act as a drain what yas think

That's exactly what I planned to do. Just don't use to big a drill bit.. (Or drill too far!) It was suggested somewhere before. ExplorerForum maybe?

ya cuz water got in diff i have now and killed it lol from what i can tell 4-6 teeth are missing lucky have a prats truck with same gearing but figured i would do some upgrades before i swap it in
