C-Clip eliminator for 8.8?

all 8.8's are the same in that aspect. i cant remember for sure whether they work with drums for sure. why would you want them in a truck though?theyre mainly for drag racing cases where you may break an axle and wreck

Having axles that won't walk out of the housing if you break them on a 4x4 is a good idea. Been running a set from Moser on our drag car at work for over 3 years bow with no problems. Not too sure on how they'd hold up on a 4x4 tho

If you read the descriptions of the c-clip eliminators, they are not recommended for an off road vehicle. I am sure they will work though.

Just swap in an Explorer 8.8 with disc brakes and you wont have to worry about the axle shaft coming out if you break it. The break calipers will hold it in.
