I sold the broncoII on Friday, I bought a '89 4runner today. I got sick of the chop top and wanted something with a removeable hardtop but decent gas milage. 22re, auto, 4x4, pretty nice shape for a 1st gen. I really like it, much better than my b2. If I ever buy a RBV again ill definitely come back. thanks for all the help, heres a pic

just cause you dont have an rbv doesnt mean you have to leave. :bye:

Goodluck with the truck man. I've always thought those were pretty sweet rigs. Wish they still made them that way today.

Hey, don't leave us, I destroyed my Ranger a few months ago, and now I drive a Dodge, I didn't leave(...and by destroyed, I mean anally violated with trees, and the ground, and not landing right side up). In any case, The Yoda looks to be in good shape, hope all goes well with it.

well i might come around every now and then, i know enough to help the noobs sometimes:D

heads up on them trucks, if u plan on wheeling it at all youre gonna want todo a SAS for anything above 33's with the front IFS in that truck, they are notoriously shitty, you will never kill the back rear i can garuntee it, if u need to know anything about the toyotas feel free to shoot me a pm, ive owned more then my fair share of them aswell, but all in all the truck looks to be in good shape, gl with it.

yeah, my friend has an '89 as well, with 33" tsl's. Hes broken an axleshaft already, he said its not too hard to change though. at least the rear end is strong though. I plan on keeping it pretty much stock for a while though, maybe a little lift, like 2". The tires are BFGs and have alot of tread left, itd be a shame to get rid of them. Im not going to wheel it as hard as the b2, its in too good of shape.

the SAS isnt that hard in those trucks, and if u do it they will wheel there ever loving ass off, i never shoulda gotten rid of my old toyota, on 35" hawgs it would outwheel trucks on 40's all day long
