bye bye ranger, got a new truck today

Ya very true. So are you saying ford doesn't know what they're doing? I know exactly what you're saying but i'm not saying that not being in-house completely is bad either. i'm saying in a way it's kind of a sense of pride being able to say your powerstroke was made intirely by the company that sold it to you. But I guess everyone has their own opinion

I'm not saying they don't know what they're doing, I'm saying they are no-where near the best at doing things like that... engines and transmissions are much better left to companies that have been doing just those things for many years. I'd rather say my Ford has an International-Navistar built 7.3 than an in-house Ford built 6.7...

meh, i say it's all good, as long as it's not a chevy

edit: oops, sorry OP

ya 02ranger i knew exactly what you were trying to say. and by no means am i saying they're the best at making things either, i just think they got it right this time with the 6.7, but its only the beginning so you never know. and Yes very true, as long as it's not a chevy
