Buying my next, helpful comments/ suggestions?

So, I just sold my ranger at a profit, and I'm about finished with a remodel that will net me my allotted 2500-3000 for my next vehile. I'm looking for friendly suggestions, no berating my or others suggestions. I liked my 2nd Gen ranger, but I need more interior space, logical conclusion, Gen 1 exploder. However, I'm not sure if I'm going truck again.



My shortlist:



Volvo 850glt/turbo r wagon/xc70

B2/1g expo

Legacy 2.5gt wagon

99-04 Passat wagon.



I'm really leaning towards the 850/turbo r, I've loved every Volvo I've owned. I don't want a Gen 2 expo because I'm aware of the 4.0's issue, and that's all I can find here in Seattle.



I want wagon/suv. Unless someone's got a ranger with a pass through they want to sell

Go with a B2, you can find some pretty good examples well within your price range...

Gen 2 explorer you could get the OHV 4.0L still....not all were SOHC engines.

So, let me ask, if I was looking for a 4door f250-f350, what's the ideal year range and engine combo, more about longevity, petrol costs are inconsequential.

94-03 7.3L, best engine you can get in them. They are tanks.

Unless you need LOTS of room, older Suzuki Grand Vitara with the 2.5 or 2.7 V6. Tough little trucks.

I need as much room as possible short of a van or box truck, lol. My concerns with suzi is the closure of Suzuki autos us, part difficulty, ECT, unfounded?
