Buying my first Ranger this weekend!

Hey guys, my name is Don, I'm picking up a project Ranger this weekend and I've heard people talk about "The Ranger Station" plenty in the past and figured this would be the place I'd need to go to learn all the little ins and outs of the Ranger world.

The truck is an '88 base model, 2.3/5-speed, roll up windows and factory option a/c delete(seems weird for a southern vehicle). The body appears to be in decent shape but it's been sitting for 8 years growing scum on one side...lol. Once I get my 351/T-5 into my Crown Vic, the 302/AOD will be gone through and get dropped into the Ranger...the plan is to do a fun budget friendly hot-rod/parts runner vehicle.
