ok, 1985 ranger, 2.3 4cyl, new timing belt, new air filter. EFI and burning rich now that timeing belt is new.

burned clean before belt skipped, now it burns my eyes.

EGR has no up tube and is capped off, no port on the header for it.

with the RV cam, truck starts, then idle gets all screwy until the computer catches up with the engine and sets itself and idle evens out. has done this since i got it.

what should i look at and adjust to clean up the fuel mixture so it doesnt burn my eyes anymore?

if it changed after the timing belt, is the timing set right?
