alright so i finally got my 5.13s installed in the rear to match the front and it got me thinking, what does it mean when someone says, "dont use 4x4 on a dry road because it will burn the 4x4 out?"
I never really knew what this meant, because it doesnt make any sense to me. I thought this because I would like to use 4x4 on the road to break in both the gears, otherwise ill never get the front broken in. The only thing i can think of is because on dirt or snow there is some slippage going on, but otherwise why would the 4x4 burn out?
