That was like 12 years ago. I think maybe 6hrs or less. I did it by myself but if I would of had help it would of been faster.

Yeah, forgot about that. I replaced the heads with rebuilt ones cause was told that it might be.warped.

Just a machining will do. At that time I didn't have access to a place that would do it for what I could afford.

I would be working on it a work and they won't let people leave cars just sit in the parking lot for a week. So I would have to have it towed back home then back to work when the heads are done being machined which I don't want to do. Maybe tear it down Friday night and have the heads machined Saturday and reassemble Sunday. I will give the machine shop a call and see what they say.
