Bumper Swap

I have been thinking about switching the bumpers on my truck. I want something that I can paint. Here is my truck its 2006 XLT

Here is the bumper that I was thinking about going with

Only issue is that it doesnt come with the mounting hardware. It says that it fit 01 02 03 would I be able to use the mounting brackets from my 2006

i think u could use the mounting brackets. the bumper middle section design is basically the same on the 01-03 and yours, so the brackets should be the same

Where did you find that bumper? I've been looking everywhere.

I'm pretty sure it will bolt directly in place of your original bumper. I'm not 100% sure but I plan to do the same thing only I'm going from the previous generation to the one you want. Also keep in mind about the fog lights whether you want them or not. I was thinking about getting one with the lights or the one without then cutting holes for a train horn haha It'd be sweet.
