Bumper Swap

My 99 Ranger hasn't had a front bumper on it for about a year due to an extremely unfortunate muddin' accident. I really dislike the design of the OEM bumper. Does anyone know if the bumper from the 93-97 Ranger bolts directly up to the 98-00 if you use the brackets that come on the 93-97? Or even better...are there any other bumpers from the factory that will bolt on with no modification?

93-97 have different brackets. deff would have to be modded. Dont think it would look good if you got it to work IMO. 93-97 bumper has a flat top where the newer ones have the recess for the grill.

they will not bolt up. and as noted above, wou'd look ugly with use gaps under the headlight.




All 98+ are swappable......and all 01+ are a crap ton better looking than the 98-00 bumper/valence combo. Here....take a peek at this....

Don't forget, you need matching bumper and valence.....

yes, i used the 99 brackets on mine for the new bumper, and it was a pain, so its better if u get the new bumper with brackets.
