Bumper Question

Will the rear bumper from a 97 Exploder fit a 98 Ranger. A friend has an old exploder rotting in his parents yard and said I can have the bumper, but I don't want to drive an hour and a half there if it's gonna be a no go you know.I guess if worse comes to worse I could measure the frame on my ranger and check it with the measurements of the Exploder frame. Just thought someone here might know. Any help would be much appreciated. I am new here so thanks guys.

Im not sure of the answer to your question but I think it will. Worst case the brackets don't line up but it can be modified rather easily to fit if this is the case. The ranger and exploder(at this time) were the same width

I know that receiver hitches wont interchange due to the explorer frame being wider ,so it may be the same for the bumper brackets
