Bumper for my '88

Hi all,

New here.
Just picked up an '88 XLT extra cab.

Would like to build a mild prerunner to accompany my '93 Bronco.

I'm looking for bumper options.

So far I've found these:

I'd prefer something with a skidplate but so far haven't found anything out there. Probably all custom builds.

I'm not sure where you are, but Affordable Off-Road might be able to help you out if you give them a call and see what they can do.

They are based near where I used to live, and one of the guys I worked with knew one of their guys. When they wanted to proto-type a front bumper for the ZJs they used his, gave him the original, and paid to get his Jeep into Motorama for a few years as their display unit, he just had to keep their stickers on it.

where are you located??....that bronco is right up our alley in these parts...i am staring at its ranger counterpart as i type this...

I'm located in western Montana, south of Missoula.

I am looking for a bolt-on application.
I don't have the skills or tools to build my own.

And thanks for the compliments on my Bronco. She's my baby.
I put a lot of work into her.

I hope to make the Ranger just as cool.

i did not build the bumpers on the trs.


nice bumpers though. missing some rubber off the rears too....

James Oaks has body lifts on his web page, so I figure that might be a good place to check. Depending on the kit, it might have those brackets with it.

Another place to check would be LMC truck. Beyond that, you will probably need to internet search.
