I`m from yuppieville, Calgary Allberta. Just rolled back into town after a great seven month road trip to Costa Rica and back to visit some friends from when I lived there four years ago. Noticed the mayor has this city turned into a police state with red light cameras mounted on every traffic light in town. Passed three radar traps just getting from the east city limits to near city centre, 7 miles. Just finished a 12,000 mile road trip and I only saw two radar traps in total, both in AZ, go figure. Figured I`d best try to blend in with everyone else doing 30 mph so I sold my Ford E250 camper van and picked up my first Ranger 4 banger since speed isn`t an issue here and gas prices are! Unfortunately we have the highest gas prices from here down to the equator and probably further. I can`t understand it as the govt keeps telling us we are sitting on the world`s second largest oil supply here in Alberta, second only to Saudi Arabia. It`s been a good little truck so far and was affordable and economical. I`ll be using the bed of the truck to haul tools and materials once I get back to work. I am in the wood business. I have been at it for about 30 years now on and off and have gotten quite good at this craft. It`s one of my passions, so that`s a good thing. Anyhow, to make a long story short, here are some shots of the pick-up and such.
