What are some relatively cheap, but effective ways to set up a 2002 ranger edge into a prerunner. 2wd by the way.

Get a mid-range kit if you have the money and some good shocks. Camburg makes a decent kit for a decent price. I think a spindle lift type kit would be alright if you arent planning on beating the truck too hard. The rear could pretty much stay stock if you want, longer shackle for a bit more travel and some good shocks. 31-33" tires, a good AT tire is nice for all around street and dirt.

Thats pretty much it, the 98 and newer ranger;s cost more than the older ones to do anything to.

you might want to look in to Mcneil also. I belive his kit is alittle easier on the wallet.the spindal is not a custom piece like the berg kit.

I know this shows a explorer on T bars, but Chad also make's a kit for the coil sprung rangers as well.

my buddy has the camburg spindle and upper arm kit on his edge and he beats on that thing out in the cinders here (has whoops like the dunes and such). the thing handles awesome over the decent sized whoops here. Now if he would only listen to me about takin some compression out fo his rear shocks it might actually ride nice in the rear end lol. By the way he has the camburg kit up front, the deaver prerunner pack out back with 14 smooth body shocks and bed cage. Not sure how much he has into it but i know its not all that much and it is a great play truck for torsion bar
