budget 88 b2 build

does anyone know how to remove the front coil springs on a 1986 b2? and how much work and time does it take?

unhook the shocks, raise the chassis(not the axle) unscrew the 1-1/8" retaining nut on the bottom and then pull out the coil.

When I changed my old coils for 2" leveling ones it took me about 2 hours and that was with messing around with the jacks and with texting every 5-10 mins. lol. Its easy.

sometimes you have to loosen the nut on the radius arm a bit. but ya might not have to..

well plans changed, now the guy backed out, but whatever i have annother guy thaat neeeds the heads, and the rear shackle handers. are those welded to the frame? im still learrnin about suspension and all that

no, they have four rivet's that hold them on. use a grinder and cut off wheel to zap the heads off, then put a punch to it and beat the living Bejesus outta it.

ok, could someone post up a pick of what they look like? i know its kinda dumb, but im still new to suspensions and all that, im used to motors, and im still learning lots of stuff everyday. another update will come as soon as pics get uploaded to photobucket :)

well here is the update, got alot of freebies in the past two days from the guy i got the truck from, i tried to give him money but he wouldnt take it lol. i got 3 cb's 1 cobra 1uniden which is exactly like the cobra, and a uniden with radioshacks name on it. i also got 2 cb antennas, and a auto tune tack made by autometer that doesnt work, he said it would probly be something simple but doesnt really wanna mess with it :) and this tack new is $200. also borrowed his sawzall to cut up my exhaust this weekend, beccause my cat is all f'ed up and it closes so its hard to keep the truck running sometimes. He also is gonna give me some sheetmetal to make my new battery tray, since mine is rusted to shit. also took a pic of the truck because i can, and the damage from me hitting out jeep. put in a new marker light from my parts truck. also got 5 cans of flat black paint to painnt my grill and all the interior peices, so i got everything mentioned in this for about $5, and if i went out and bought it the price would be about $500 :), oh and if anyone wants the old flag mirrors, ill trade for a set of good big mirrors like the ones on the truck, or will take $20 shipped. they are in really good shape.
