bucket seats

1st gen explorer seats will bolt right in to your super cab. Many had leather.

i put in seats out of an mitsi. eclipse into my old 88 ext. cab
worked good, sat lower, and where pretty comfortable..
not exactly bolt in, but between me and my buddy we got them in good..
even found a way to make the seat belts work, and the did work.. because a few months later i rolled the truck on its side and everything stayed where i put it.

how did you get eclipse seats in your ranger i have been trying to put non-ranger seats in mine for a while and cant figure out how.

What about any bucket seat out of a Eddie Bauer BII? I like my seats.

My 97 black mustnag buckets are by far the nicest seats ive set in in a ranger.way more comfortable, sporty. Direct swap. just swap seats. Holes are already drilled in the stang seats for the ranger track. They arnt threaded.. but with an impact,, there self tapping lol,, I even hooked up the power lumbar

i have seats from a late 80s tempo. they were in perfect condition and are more comfortable than the wore out seats that were in there. they don't have much leg room though, so if you are tall and need leg room i would advise against them unless you have a ext. cab. they pretty much bolted right in, i only had to tap one or two holes I think.

i had the seats out of my 91 lx 5.0 in my old ranger working lumbar and damn near no hassle.
