good question
Hello all, I have a 1994 ford ranger and it is in the what I would consider early stages of rust. The cab corners are bubbling, no holes YET. But will be appearing soon. I am trying to fix it or semi slow it down. I have a welder and stuff but I would prefer to not weld patches in yet. Also it’s a cayman green or teal idk it’s a not like black or white easy paint match lol.

Well, unfortunately if it’s bubbling, it’s already deep. You can try to grind the bubbles out and chase any rust fingers, use a rust converter, bondo/prime/paint and spray some oil or WD40 down into the inside of the cab corner to hold it off awhile, but that’s about where you’re at.

Ford liked to put a bit of foam down in the cab corners and stuff and that encourages rust from the inside out if it ever took on any moisture.
