OK so here is my situation, i want a push bar/grille guard/whatever you wanna call em. Anyways I'm going to get this: http://www.jcwhitney.com/OUR-LOWEST-PRICED-GRILLE-GUARDS/GP_2004913_N_111+200728676+600002179_10101.jcw

And then they sell these: http://www.jcwhitney.com/OUR-LOWEST-PRICED-BRUSH-GUARDS/GP_2004914_N_111+200728676+600002179_10101.jcw

Except not for a 1996 ranger...even tho they make the grille guard for a 1996. So my question is what is close to a 1996 rangers front end? Would a 1992 brush guard bolted onto a 1996 grille guard look goofy on a 1996? Would a dakotas brush guards work? Or...?

brush guard

ive got iirc a 92 isuzu rodeo on my 01. just welded it to the tow hooks so i could unbolt it ill take pictures tomorrow and post em up it looks ok but im going the body lift route so ill have to take it off and put the valance back on

Oh..snap...i have a three inch body lift. How does that affect mounting a grille guard?

depends if it mounts to your bumper or frame frame yes bumper no

You should have just tried a different year. I put in 1994 and it came up as positive for a fit, just go with that. It's the same as a 1996.
