Is there a way to clean the sensor in the washer resevior? The Light on the center console stays on. I CAN unplug it, but I like things to work like they are supposed to.

Thanks Guys!

I figured this would be a big issue, since this has happned on 2 other Bronco II's that Ive owned. I guess Im the unlucky one :(

I have the same issue and I am looking forward to seeing a solve for this.

Me too!!!! My Grandfather had an issure with it, but he had the $$ to just buy a new one each year.. I was lucky to get the 86! :)

Repeatedly smack the s*** out of the side of the tank, with the handle of a screwdriver. Not to hard though. It usually unsticks the float, and is good till it goes low or gets stuck again. Every Ford I've ever owned has had this dumb issue, and I see it quite often on all makes of customer cars.

Works like... 80% of the time. This sometimes happens to the brake reservoir too.

Hmmmm, I never relized there was a float in the tank.. It always looked like two prongs sticking out of the plastic and that was it. I wondered HOW that tank worked... Illl try the tapping..

Thanks!
Chaz.
