I have been swapping the internals from my damaged tail gate to my un damaged one that had bad internals. so i moved everything over to the new one but now the handle wont activate the latches. there is a space between the handle and the rest of the internals am i missing a piece that goes there?

So...the handle is not making any contact with the rest of the internals?

When you turn the handle, do the bars going to each latch move at all?

It's hard to diagnose without looking at it..

Sounds like the handle isn't connected to the internals..

no its not there is literally a gap between the handle and the rest of the internals. i just wanted to know if im missing something

Well, it definitely sounds like something is missing! lol

Did you check on the other liftgate to see if you forgot a piece?

all the parts are sitting on the table i dont seen anything there heres a picture

thanks. so since icant seem to find any information on the tailgate assembly of the broncoII i just decided i will add a screw to the end of my tailgate handle to make it strike the mechanism. it looks funny but it should work
