So I've started to install new interior in my old B2. Ripped everything out and getting it cleaned up for fatmat, carpet, refurbished interior panels and headliner. My old foam pad for the headliner is really roached and was wondering if anyone knows of a fix for the foam? Otherwise I need to try to source another foam pad for her. And we all know how hard it is getting anything for these old things lol.

The headliner in my '90 has a fiberglass backing. Maybe try to find one of those if it'll fit (I would assume '89 & '90 would have it). You'll probably need to recover it with new material no matter what though.

Yeah I have new headliner material. Just trying to see if the foam backer board can be repaired or replaced. Hard to find BIIs around here lol. And nobody sells the foam backer board.

So this is the headliner board I snatched from the BII before they crushed it today. Came out of a 1986 XLT. 10 times better than mine.

So I got the whole interior out now. Damn seat belt and back seat bolts took a day to get out, star bolts were rusted bad. I went threw 2 star sockets getting them out, even using PB Blaster lol. Will post pics on the interior install when I start. If the rain holds off lol.

Almost done with the interior. Headliner glued up. Interior painted. Hope to install before weekend.

I think my neck broke looking at that last pic :icon_twisted:

Damn Tapatalk. One day I might actually figure out how to take a pic and load it so it's not jacked up lol. Anyway, you get the idea. Almost done with the hard part of the interior. Still searching for my 302 though lol.

I was eagerly following this thread. Hoping to see how the headliner turned out. Getting ready to go after doing my B2. I am missing foam tho
