I just wanted to know if any body knew the Gross vehicle weight rating for a 84 bronco 2?

thanks.

um something like 10 pounds. don't try to tow a whole lot with it until you go through the transmission.

im sorry i ment the weight of the vehicle. not how much it can pull.

Mine tipped the scales at around 3300 lbs.

gross vehicle weight is the weight the truck will weigh when fully loaded with the maximum legal load.

what your looking for is called curb weight.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that in my other post. That weight(3300 lbs) is totally empty and about 1/4 tank of gas.

You can find that information by decoding your VIN......if the 4th letter is A it is up to 3000 lbs, if its B 3001-4000 lbs, or if its C 4001 lbs and up....

If the curb weight is 3000-3400 lbs, what is the weight of the front vs. rear of the vehicle?

The GVWR rating on my '90 is 4360lbs.

Weight distribution (unladen) is very close to 50-50% on a BII.

Look around for a truck stop or commercial truck scale along a hi-way, most truck stops have a scale u can get your front axel, rear axel and truck weight to your set up.

My 84 says GVWR 4160 pnds on the door sticker.
GAWR for front is 2120.
GAWR for rear is 2390.

Guessing GAWR is gross axle weight rating.
