I thinking on switching my 1986 bronco II to From Auto to 5 speed. My question is The drive shaft on the auto the same for a stick? and will the brake and clutch peddles from a Ranger be the same as a Bronco?
Thanks Mark
I put in a M50D and it's the same length so no drive line problems but remember the drive line goes to the transfer case. There is one tranny that fits thats a different length its in the archives.
The peddles out of a Ranger do fit the early 90s peddles fit too B2 ,ranger and explorer. From the back of the doors forward it really is a ranger.
Assuming they have the same flange on the rear output, they are the same length. The earlier 1350's have a different style that could throw the measurement off slightly, but not much.
Anyway the earlier transmissions like I mentioned above will require driveline length mods because they are NOT the same as the A4LD he's pulling out.
