Bronco bleeding into Ranger

And the 3.3 non-turbo v6, it has less torque than the 2.3 EB, shouldn't be that hard unless the bellhouse pattern is different.

Never owned a turbo, figure it just adds to a bunch of extra exhaust plumbing that makes things hard to work on, and additional points of failure. Yeah I know more power and all.... but my truck is a 4.Slow, so power clearly wasn't the motivating factor buying it :icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

My current "daily driver" is a 7.3 Powerstroke E350 ambulance. I only want one vehicle that's a bitch to work on.

I want to be able to tow a horse trailer and haul hay.

The turbo bolts on the side of the head. A couple more intake pipes is all the turbo adds.

IMO I would rather have the 2.3 than a weaker V6 shoehorned into a platform that has had any design consideration given to fitting a V6.

Put a manual in a Ranger and I'll put in my deposit tomorrow.

Right now I'm deciding between a Bronco and a Tacoma.
Problem is, the cheapest Tacoma you can get a manual with is almost $40K, and there is a waiting list to get one.

I suppose it will depend on the take rate with the Bronco... but it wouldn't surprise me to see the next Gen Ranger come with the 7 speed manual.

Have you driven a new Tacoma? Seat placement is worse than it was on the '02 Tacoma's.

I'm impressed with the Ranger's 10 speed automatic. It does engine breaking... pretty impressive. I still would rather have a stick shift, but if you haven't driven one, give one a nice long test drive.

Won't even waste my time trying an auto. Seriously, not even up for debate. No manual, no buy.

Not to be "one of them" but I would have a hard time trading my '85 for a newer Taco based purely on comfort.

Taco's floor is high, the seat is low and the roof is low. You can easily trip, hit your head and miss the seat all at the same time. Very awkward to get into and then once in it is like you are sitting on a gamer chair.
