Broken wire

I have a 1989 Ford Ranger with a 2.9 l four-wheel drive. When removing the motor to rebuild I pulled this wire loose. It is located between the battery box and the air cleaner box beneath the starter solenoid. It is a black wire with a green stripe going into what looks like a fuse. Coming out of the fuse it is solid black. Any help directing me to where this wire goes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim. PS pics attached.

I believe that is a ground. That is a one pin connector, not a fuse.

Makes sense,. I thought I had All the wires disconnected but it would have been easy to miss a ground. Thanks for replying. Jim

The wiring diagram shows one end of the wire going to the frame where the ground from the battery bolts to before continuing to the engine block. The other end going into the wire loom supplies a ground for the O2 sensor, ECC relay, and the ECM.
