I was putting new intake gaskets and fuel injectors, and noticed this wire. it seems to have broken off from something? Its a 2.3

The big plug is the bottom plug on the computer? Its the box bolted to the intake manifold.

The big plug goes to the bottom of the Ignition control module or the top, there should be two of those. The one with the wiring running to the crank sensor goes on the bottom.

What about the broken one? The other two plugs are hooked up. I'm just not sure about the broken one.

I don't know the 2.3, I've never worked on one. However, I've seen single wire leads on the oil pressure ( idiot light ) sensor and the water temp ( idiot light ) sensor on other engines.

That single wire plug i believe goes to the noise supressor on the coil.

Hopefully I will find it tonight.

Well, I cant find any place for the wire to go. It almost looks like 2 wires but they are really small. The only thing on that side is the gear box, crank trigger, wire loom that goes to the starter. I just started it and it runs okay, the miss is gone. It has really low idle. When I first started it would die as soon as I let off the gas. I drove it for a bit going 65. It seemed to have less power but I got it in 5th gear, it don't usually do very good in 5th gear because of tires and gears. It wasn't having any problem. It would not go over 65 though. :annoyed:
