Broken Transfer Case

I just recently purchased a 95 ranger with a 44/9 sas and not long after I brought it home the t case decided to break the rear housing. It is a manual shift t case and Im having trouble finding a new one. Can the rear hosing from an e shift case be modified to fit? Or are the any others cases that I can swap in that would be stronger?

Here are two listed in NC. Since you have driveline modifications, I would suspect a driveline problem. U-joints not phased, driveshaft too long, u-joint angles improper, etc. A lot of vibration can break the casting.

Yes, you can modify the rear housing from an Eshift t-case to fit a manual. The only thing you have to do is plug the open hole where the shift motor shaft passes through it.
There are probably 700 different ways to accomplish it. I know you can run a pipe tap (I don’t remember what size, probably 1/2”) from the outside without drilling it. Then just put a pipe plug in to seal it.
