Anybody out there with suggestions on preventing a repeat of the broken flex plate? Mine was on an 85 B2, 2.8 V6, with the A4LD 4x4. Any modifications made other than the swap to a V8 and better trans! It is currently my daughters vehicle, and the last thing she needs is a V8! I am not familiar with all of the parts for this, but all there was when removing was the plate bolted to the crank, and the TC bolted to the plate. There were no other loose parts like spacers, washers, sleeves...etc. Was thinking of puting a weld bead on both side of the plate at the flange that mounts to the crank. HELP...PLEASE...I dont want to do this again! Thanks

new crank spacer from sonnax(the oem are powdered iron, and always break, and a updated snout torque converter
