Alright, so the other day, I started noticing a loud sound coming from my front when i hit 30mph+ so I took a look and noticed that the boot clamp was broken. Would this make the sound and make my truck shake some? or could the bearing also be going bad?

With NO information about your truck or WHICH boot you are talking about...

My TIB truck has three boots on it (Front driveshaft, Rear Driveshaft & right side front axle shaft) a '98-up SLA Ranger has SIX (Front driveshaft, Rear Driveshaft and inboard and outboard ends of BOTH front halfshafts)

so please... information...

sorry, i have a 98 ford ranger, v6 4.0 liter. 4x4 extended cab. I took it to a shop and they said that i need a new hub assembly, and it was missing something. I have it all written down somewhere.

I need to replace the wheel hub assembly, the 4 wheel drive locking assembly, mud boot, and a new half shaft.
