Upon re-assembling everything after fixing my clutch, I discovered that when I pulled the hydraulic line off the slave, the end broke off and is stuck in the slave. I know I can get another line, but I'm curious if there is a way I can remove the piece stuck in the slave. Looking through the bottom inspection hole, I can see the is a little metal pin where the line goes. Does anybody know if I can remove this pin and then pull out the piece, and if so how? I don't want to drop this thing again, or buy a new slave, its only a year and a half old.

Thanks.

youre supposed to remove the pin prior to removing the line, the pin is what holds the line in.

remove the pin, end will come out easy enough, and buy a new line

I don't remember doing anything to the pin when I removed it last time a did the clutch... I remember a number of little clips that get released when you slide the white plastic part in. I'll see if I can get that pin out though.

Ok, I actually broke one of the 'fingers' off the slave. Is does look like it may have been meant to be removable.... im just not sure how or where I can get that piece. Or if I'll be able to get that piece of the end of the line.

lmc sells new lines with the metal male peaces at each end, get a small punch or some thing and push the pin out , the male peace will come right out.

iv tride to make my own line befor and wont work, your gunna have to get a new line, it will just leak and you wont get enuff presure built up.

Everything's good. Another $115 for a new slave and I managed to get the broken piece off the end of the line. Oh and the $20 I gave to a buddy to pull it since I didn't wanna do it again lol.
