whelp,
it's in the garage and dint know what to do with it... It's a practically rust free, really nice 85 XLT 4x4..........
the "kid" in ME wants to do a V8 Swap.............. with NO computer and smog........... anyone ever accomplish this with little headaches??

OR.......???????????? think the body and driveline is worth anything close to the $1500 i've got in it????

The duraspark conversion gets rid of all the computer stuff. Did it to mine and love it but had to get a new carb and the duraspark dizzy but was worth it all in the end.

the 289/302 swap is pretty straight forward. lots of threads here about it as well as good write ups in the tech library. but with a truck that nice, i'd do either the swap or the duraspark conversion. sure wouldn't let it go.
