Brand new F-150 for $430!

Man, I'd should submit an offer for full asking price, and then sue them when they won't honor it.

If they make a mistake like that they have to honor the price. I would have bought it. That how my dad got his last car someone wrote the wrong price and my dad saved 10k!

Most locations do not enforce a clearly incorrect price.

A $47K vehicle marked down to $430 is clearly a typo and nobody is going to be legally forced to honor that price.

If someone really pressed the issue and tried to get the courts involved, it could be considered false advertising. They may have to pay a small fine and the lawyers fees, but you’ll get nothing out of it.... it’s not worth the time or effort.
And it’s a frivolous lawsuit that should be thrown out before a judge even sees it.

Here I was thinking it was another recently divorced wife wanting revenge

I got a free turkey once cause the sign said buy one get one free. The manager said oh that sign was suppose to be on something else. I caused a scene and got my free turkey...

Never underestimate the value of causing a scene...

Texas has strict Bait and switch laws to protect consumers. Unless there is a disclaimer stating that the price is subject to change they do indeed have to honor the price. My dads a lawyer in Texas.

Yes, those are the laws that they are bound to abide by in advertising prices. That doesn't exclude them from being protected against clear mistakes. It's one thing to intentionally advertise a $40k truck for $30k and refuse to honor your marketing. It's quite another to inadvertently let it go to print at $4k.
