I have a 2002 Ford Ranger 4.0 4x4. And would like to know something about the brakes. I have a 1996 Ford Mustang you know on Rangers you have front disc brakes and rear drum. Well I would like rear disc brakes and the mustang that I have has those disc brakes on rear end. Well in my Ranger the rear end is 8.8 and the same with Mustang will the rear brake and all mount on my Ranger rear end. :icon_welder::icon_confused: I need some help any thing you may know or can help with please do i hate drum brakes

yes, but the offet is different. you have to notch the mustang bracket to fit o the inside of the plate on the end of the tube. or you can get the bracket from northracecars.com. te one from north race cars bolts right on and you can get one to run either sn95 brakes or cobra brakes. I have the cora brakes on my truck.

The Mustang axles have a different spacing between the wheel mounting
flange and the brake mounting flange on the ends of the axle tubes.

No, they won't fit.
