Brakes sticking on 2005 Ranger 4x4

I have a question.I just bought a used 2005 4x4 Ranger..I love it..but I noticed a pulsating when taking off from a stop after I 've used this brakes..I beleive the back brakes are not backing off like they should.Has anyone else had this problem..and how did you fix it.

Yesterday,,when I was backed down a hill I went to put on the emergency brake when unloading my small 10 foot jon..I noticed I couldn't push down the emergency brake more than an inch to inch and 1/2...Later on the emergency brake went down about 3 inches and the weirdness stopped..I do beleive this to be back brakes.It shifts very quietly and idles perfectly.

If you have drums on the rear and you think that is the area, it would not hurt to pull the drums off and check. It might be a lining separated from the shoe moving around or something simple like that.
